Beetel set up its first dedicated manufacturing unit in Hambran, Ludhiana. Collaborating with Siemens AG for technology support, we commenced our commercial production in June, 1987 with the manufacturing of Push Button Phones. Gradually, we ventured into manufacturing and distribution of a variety of telecom accessories. In 1994, we became the first telecom brand to earn ISO-9000 certification. Apart from this state-of-the-art manufacturing unit, we also have 8 warehouses.
At present, we manufacture telephone answering machines in collaboration with Takacom, Japan, and provide technical assistance to Sembule Electronics, Uganda. Till date, we have exported 7 million phones to more than 30 countries across the globe including - Peru, Chile, Argentina, Hong Kong (Thomson - GE), Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, etc. Rich legacy, unparallel dedication and outstanding quality manufacturing give us an edge over our competitors. As a result, we hold majority market share in all segments of customers - both private service providers and retail sale.
